Chickadee's Hatch

My husband and I wanted a unique cabin experience yet did not want to be far from town. This cabin did not disappoint. It was clean, comfortable and furnished beautifully. There is a short mulched trail to the front door from the parking area which made it feel even more remote. We loved sitting on the back deck enjoying the views. There are also about 5 or six other similar cabins on the property yet we still had our privacy. The Artisan and Sushi restaurant at Cheshire Village was only a short walk. The management company was easy to deal with and was very responsive to any questions we had. We will definitely be back - maybe even try out one of the other amazing cabins! Thank you for making our anniversary so memorable!

Woodpecker's Hollow

The cabin was great for our family trip. It was nestled in the woods enough to be private but also close to town and many attractions. We loved the little store/bistro at the entrance to the complex and Ingles Grocery just down the street. The Artisan store had all organic and natural foods that were really fresh and not overly pricey. As for the cabin, it was just right for us and our 2 grade school children. They slept on the pullout but liked to play up in the loft and go explore down by the creek. It was exactly what you'd expect for a cabin, a mixture of rustic and cozy. There are 2 decks with nice views. The kitchen is a little small but had cookware, dishes, stove, fridge, toaster and sink which suited our needs. We were supplied with dish soap and paper towels for the kitchen and there was detergent for the laundry. The property manager was very helpful and professional. We had a few questions during the check-in process and he responded very quickly and let us check in a little early. After our trip, we realized we had left some baseball hats and he shipped them back to us right away. I would recommend this cabin for a quiet escape, a relaxing stay and great customer service!
